Estrella Bengio

Estrella Bengio was born in Tangier and grew up in Ceuta. Ms. Bengio, who is the daughter in law of Isaac Querub (former FCJE president), has served as the President of the Madrid Jewish community since 2021.

Prior to becoming the president of the Madrid Jewish community, Bengio worked for 35 years in the International healthcare sector with many advisory and consulting roles.

Bengio served as the Regulatory Affairs Director at Abbott Nutrition covering a broad range of countries and was a member of the Board of Specialized Nutrition Europe, SNE, covering Food for Special Medical Purposes and Public Affairs. Bengio has also covered a leading role in the regulatory area in Medical Nutrition International Industry, MNI.

Bengio has a Master´s in Pharmacy and Nutrition from the Complutense University of Madrid.
